About Artistic Expressions Gallery

Artistic Expressions Gallery was founded in 2008 by sister duo and Detroit natives Siana Treece and SuVon Treece, as a way to expand their audience and continue to share their common gift of art with others. While their styles are individually unique, these sisters love the use of bright rich colors and share a goal of developing art that evokes emotion and is aesthetically pleasing. Both are skilled in drawing and painting and are well-versed in a variety of mediums including graphite, charcoal, pastels, oil pastels, watercolor, colored pencil, marker, acrylic paint, spray paint, mixed media, and digital/graphic art. The Treece sisters most often create drawings, paintings, and digital art, specializing in murals, portraits, landscapes, abstract art, and illustrations and both have worked in creative fields their entire adult lives.

In addition to their online gallery, the Treece sisters have had continued success with their personal exhibitions where they not only showcase their own talents but also provide a platform for local artists to display their works. Artistic Expressions Gallery also gives back to the community by selecting a charity to donate a portion of all their event proceeds to. Some of the charities that have benefited from A.E. Gallery’s success are Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Detroit, Alternatives for Girls, and The Rhonda Walker Foundation. “While it’s great to have a successful event to make money for your organization, it’s even more rewarding to give back to the community in whatever way you can,” says Siana.
